Training Levels

Our 3-levels program (for Sprint, Olympic and Half-Ironman distances) will lead you in the right direction for whatever your goal may be.

 

 

 

 

 

Sprint
This is a great place for beginners!
Prerequisites: You must be able to swim 100 yards and walk 3 miles. If you are unable to swim, please enroll in lessons before beginning our program.
Commitment level: 5 days a week of training, for a total of 5-8 hours per week.
Possible races:
· Tri for Fun
· Tri, Girl, Tri

Olympic
Prerequisites: You must be able to swim 200 yards and run 2 miles.
Commitment level: 6 days a week of training, for a total of 6-10 hours per week.
Possible races:
· Folsom
· Triathlon at Pacific Grove

Half Ironman
A great challenge for the seasoned athlete!
Prerequisites: Ability to successfully complete an Olympic-distance triathlon.
Commitment level: 6 days a week of training, for a total of 10-16 hours per week.
Possible race:
· Barb’s Race
